Catholic Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Guadalupe image

Led by Faith. Inspired by History. Guided in Spirit.

Join us on a sacred journey to the heart of Mexico as we embark on a Catholic pilgrimage to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patroness of the Americas. This 4-day pilgrimage is an opportunity for spiritual renewal, cultural discovery, and deepened devotion.

We will visit the most important Marian shrine in the Western Hemisphere—the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe—where the miraculous image of the Blessed Virgin appeared on St. Juan Diego’s tilma. Along the way, we’ll celebrate Mass in holy sites, explore colonial cities, and reflect on the faith that has shaped generations.

Whether you are seeking spiritual healing, inspiration, or simply a deeper connection to your Catholic faith, this pilgrimage offers a profound and unforgettable experience.

Travel Tips - General Information

Currency
Exchange currency at reputable exchange houses or banks for favorable rates. The official currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it is wise to carry some cash.

Cell Phone Charger Adapter
If you are coming from the U.S., no adapter is needed. Mexico uses the same voltage and outlet types. Travelers from other countries should bring a Type A or B adapter.

Clothing
Dress modestly for all religious events—long skirts or pants and tops that cover the shoulders are appropriate. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.

Sunscreen
Due to the sunny and often hot climate, daily use of sunscreen is important.

Umbrella or Rain Jacket
Weather in Mexico can be unpredictable. Pack a small umbrella or lightweight rain jacket.

Water Bottle
Stay hydrated throughout the day. A refillable water bottle is helpful.

Safety
Mexico is generally safe, especially in tourist and pilgrimage areas. Still, be cautious:

  • Keep valuables close and secure

  • Avoid carrying large amounts of cash

  • Stick to well-lit and populated areas at night

Going on Pilgrimage

Although pilgrimages have long been a part of Christian history, we are currently witnessing an unprecedented increase in the number of pilgrimages made worldwide.

Through the centuries, God has been revealed to people of all faiths and backgrounds, and miracles are signposts pointing all of humankind to God. When a eucharistic miracle occurs, it is not for Catholics only but for the whole world. When the Blessed Virgin Mary appears, her message is intended for all of humanity. When a saint's body remains incorrupt through the grace of God, this is a sign for all people. Through these works, God is revealed as the God of love, the One to whom all human hearts tend. Pilgrimages are physical expression of this human longing.
